Parsing the Achievement Gap: Baselines for Tracking Progress - This report identifies fourteen correlates that describe conditions that help create and perpetuate achievement gaps among racial and ethnic groups and between students from poor and non-poor families.

CNA - Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Appalachia - REL Appalachia is one of ten regional institutions in the Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) program supported by the U.S. Department of Education's Institute of Education Sciences. We serve Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia and are headquartered at CNA in Alexandria, Virginia. We can provide research-related information to assist schools and districts in improving the performance of schools and students.

 

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), with a current enrollment of 9,560 students, is seeking to fill two positions in the College of Health, Education and Professional Studies.

In 2005, the University launched a new and unique Ed.D. in Learning and Leadership and is looking for two additional individuals who can serve as faculty in that program as well as support master's and post-master's programs in instructional leadership. The Learning and Leadership doctorate prepares leaders for organizations in the 21st century across all disciplines through innovative and flexible delivery formats.
